# Welcome to Ibis

Ibis is a permissioned credit platform connecting lenders and borrowers through isolated facilities. Each facility is a credit line for one borrower, with its own shares, cash and accounting.

Lenders provide capital to a facility and hold its shares. Borrowers receive principal and repay into that facility.
